Comments River loop from Ridge Ave. Almost didn't make it out the door today following an extensive gallery de-install at work until 5. Forced myself out the door around 6:15 and headed towards the river. Ended up meeting some former Villanova runners and joined in for a few miles. They turned back and I kept going out towards Falls Bridge, rolling into a short tempo effort run. Ended up running 3 miles, 2 mins recovery, 2 miles, before cooling down back towards ridge. The time is slower than tempo pace but the effort felt close to it after being on my feet all day. Still felt smooth, could have continued on for some time.
