Thu May 17th - Easy Run - 8.5mi
Time of day 5:00 PM
Distance 8.50 mi
Shoe Air Pegasus + (y/g12)
Comments Trail run with Bruce in the WIssahickon. Sharp pains in my right knee. IT band is tight with a small visible bulge of inflammation. Side effect of compensating for the calf. Need to sort this out soon. Easy pace around 7:30 coming back, finished with a good stride out. Form feels good and legs are fresh. Ready for the track if my knees can handle it.

Comments Treadmill run testing out the calf. Felt better than yesterday. Held on for an hour with no pain. Slight tightness in knees to compensate for weak calf. Hopefully this is the end of it. Fully recovered from racing now, need to stay healthy to amp up the mileage and workouts for the next months races.

Comments First run back after a few days of failed attempts to shake my calf tightness. Serious pain, but doesnt feel like a pull. Decent jog today to loosen it up. Its been constant stretching and massage the past 3 days.
