Comments 2 mile warm-up on Temple Track. 5 sets of 200, 200, 400 with equal active recovery. Goal was current mile pace which I estimated around 4:40 more or less. Ran in trainers and played the pace conservatively to ease back into track work this week. Im sure the intervals would feel much easier in spikes than they did. I was hurting on the last 400. Its going to take some time to get back the speed endurance. Each set including rest cycle was right around 6:20-6:30. Cooled down at home with 3 miles easy on the treadmill. The cold was racking my brain at high 20s on the track.
