Comments Salem Lake. Headed out towards the pavement trail to add on 3 miles to the normal 7. Hit the first river crossing, rushing with water about knee deep. Decided to go for it and made the cross. Turned the corner and the remainder of the path was flooded. Had a change of heart and decided to cross back over the river and head back to run loop in opposite direction. Felt stupid for drenching my shoes with cold water just a mile into the run however dried out quick in the warm sun. Temps in high 30s low 40s, about perfect conditions. Added more time on pavement trail the second time around to hit 10. Will never get tired of Salem lake.
