Comments Ridge to Franklin Field to meet up with small group of PRTC. Ran a solo workout to try and get some turnover. 10 x 400 with a lap jog. Track was still a bit slick with some soft plywood on the back turn soaked from melting snow piles. Had slick spots and dead spots on both turns. Lap jog was about 1:50-2:00 mins each. Philly is still a bit of a shit show from the blizzard, but we are looking at warmer temps through the end of the week, so most sidewalks and trails should be cleared this weekend. Looking forward to it.

Tue January 26th - Tempo Run - 8.5mi

Comments 2.5 mile warmup to Franklin Field. track was plowed for the most part except they chose to not follow the bend causing sharp corners out to lane 7. Swung wide on the first bend and ran through some slush on the second. Tagged along with PRTC en route to 3 x 15 min tempo pace. I ran 2 x 10 and headed home early. Not feeling it today. 5:40 pace felt rough and cut down to 5:25s which felt abysmal. Rough workout with work and the storm.
