Mon August 22nd - Progression Run - 7.05mi

Comments Out and back on the schuylkill. Still uneasy with the hamstrings so I warmed up with Mel for the first two miles of her run. Right hamstring felt loose early on but now some twinges in the left. Loosened up after the third mile and came back with a nice tailwind. Decided to open up the stride a bit and test the legs out. Cut down without any difficulty. Will continue treating both legs, not quite out of the woods yet.
Splits: 8:25, 8:46, 6:54, 6:39, 6:09, 6:04, 5:40

Sun August 21st - Easy Run - 8.4mi

Shoe Supernova Glide 4 (New)
Comments Rainy river loop. Hamstrings loosened up a bit and was able find a rhythm. Still feeling spotty pain but not debilitating. Surrounding muscle groups were working overtime to stabilize = a lot of wasted energy. 7 min miles felt like 6 min miles. Im just pleased to make it around the loop without excessive worsening pain. Easy miles this week to ensure recovery and move from there.
