Tue February 12th - Hill Run - 8mi

Comments Bryn Mawr Running Company group workout. Drove out to Bryn mawr to get in with a competitive running group. It was great to be training in a good pack of athletes once again. Its been a while since I've had this experience. Today was the last of series of hill workouts being run evert Tuesday night. Tonight was deemed King of the Hill Challenge. Each prospective group was to complete 90 sec sprints up a long pavement hill, surpassing their mark of the previous interval each time. The last person to survive while increasing their distance would be crowned king. This was a bit of a shock to the system, not planning on going to the well on my first real workout back just off of a sinus infection. Decided to go for it anyways. Felt surprisingly comfortable for the most part. Stride was fresh. Started hurting by about 5-6. Just about made 8 hills before un-matching my mark. Jumped in for a 9th just for fun. A couple of guys made it to the 9-10. They held strong, Im definitely not there yet. Hopefully I can make this a weekly occurrence.
