Comments Entered this race outside of Fredericksburg for a good tempo fitness test. Was hoping for some easy money as last year was won in 58 minutes. Just missed the money in 4th place, First place was 50:19 and the two other guys blew past me with two miles to go and I couldnt react this early into my training. Ran jsut ahead of tempo pace for most of the race without going to the well, tough hills from 6 -9, good rollers for the latter miles. Pleased with how smooth 5:40s felt for the duration of the run but disappointing that I couldnt muster up some more kick on the final hills to take home some cash. Splits below
